Biography
Sim Gill is currently the Chief City Prosecutor for Salt Lake City, the largest municipal prosecutor’s office in the state of Utah. He has more than 15 years of prosecuting experience through the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s office, Salt Lake City and Layton City. He has prosecuted in the areas of white collar crime, felony drunk driving, environmental crimes and the sexual exploitation for profit cases.
Sim graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. degree in History and Philosophy. He played on the University of Utah football team from 1981-1983. He received his J. D. degree and certificate of specialization in Environmental and Natural Resources Law from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
Sim and his wife, Jamie Tabish, are the proud parents of a son and daughter Vikram and Anjali, and of course, their dachshund, Loki.
